To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off the track, we seek exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following positions:

CONTRACT POSITION(S)

ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER

7 months contract:
April – October

The incumbent will support the Operations department in managing logistical functions for our artistes such as flights, accommodation, media and hospitality commitments. You are expected to be strong in strategic planning, have a keen eye for detail and have the ability to multi-task and accommodate ongoing changes. You are also required to participate in infrastructure planning for backstage layouts and internal fit-outs as well as conduct site inspections. During the Event, you will manage an on-ground crew and troubleshoot operational issues.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in event management or a similar industry.
• Team player who can also function independently in a dynamic environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess good management, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Willing to work long hours and over some weekends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Paddock Club™ Manager
(Client Services)

3 months contract:
July - September

As a key part of the Paddock Club™ team, you will be responsible for all aspects of client liaison for individual as well as corporate group bookings for the suites. This will also involve facilitating ticket personalisation and fulfilment, accreditation requirements and general updating of guest entitlements and schedule. You will be required to oversee the suite build process with the appointed contractor to agreed standards and timelines. In addition, you will be involved in service briefings and training sessions for the event.

A quick thinker and an effective problem solver, you should be able to work under deadline pressure and have proven project management capabilities to deliver an event to a world-class level.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years relevant working experience with a good track record in the hospitality or events industry, preferably on the client management side.
• At least a Diploma in Business Studies, Hospitality, Tourism or other related industry.
• Proven leadership, strategic decision-making and detailed planning skills.
• Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors.
• Experience in managing build contractors to given standards and timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Helpful, matured and meticulate with a friendly disposition.
• Able to work under pressure, quick thinker and solutions-driven.
• Willing to work long hours, on shift and some weekends.
• Proficient in the English language as well as in desktop computer applications (Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word).

Paddock Club™ Coordinator
(Client Liaison and Accreditation)

3 months contract:
July - September

Reporting to the Paddock Club™ Director, you will be working directly with Paddock Club™ clients on their ticketing and accreditation requirements for event crew. You will be required to liaise with third-party vendors and internal departments to ensure all information is clearly communicated and instructions are executed correctly. These include, but are not limited to, the coordination of last minute ticketing and accreditation requests for Paddock Club™ and ensuring all changes are communicated to all relevant team members in a timely manner.

In addition, you will be required to support the general Paddock Club™ operations onsite and prepare and update documentation for the management team.

An organised, process-driven individual with good interpersonal skills, you should be able to demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience with a good track record in the hospitality or events industry.
• At least a Diploma in Business Studies, Hospitality, Tourism or other related industry.
• Experienced in completion of detailed documentation in a pressurised, time sensitive environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills. Preferably helpful, matured and meticulate with a friendly disposition.
• Able to work under pressure, quick thinker and solutions driven.
• Willing to work long hours and some weekends.
• Proficient in the English language as well as in desktop computer applications (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
