PERMANENT POSITION(S)

Accreditation Executive/Manager

A key member of the accreditation team, you will manage related aspects of accreditation operations including contract evaluation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and key partners, as well as the production and distribution of accreditation passes and decals.

Key Requirements:

• Degree Holder in any discipline
• Good interpersonal, communications and written skills
• Possess integrity and professionalism
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong team player who is meticulous and organised
• Able to work under time pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver
• Able to analyse reports to propose actionable insights

Senior Regional Manager,
Media & Communications & National Press Officer

Singapore GP is looking for an experienced, meticulous and self-driven individual to join the Media & Communications department.

You will be required to lead publicity efforts both locally and across Asia, building and maintaining media relations in the lead up to the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.

With a proven ability to conceptualise and implement strategic integrated communications plans, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The role requires you to write press releases and feature releases, as well as copyediting, thus a good command of English as well as strong writing capabilities is a must. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin would be an advantage. A creative thinker and a problem solver, it is also essential that you are experienced in organising events and have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

You should also have a sound knowledge of social media platforms and tools, with prior experience in content creation and community management.

As National Press Officer, you will supervise the set-up and running of the Media Centre, managing the team and third party vendors to ensure smooth operations in accordance to the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) guidelines, as well as oversee the media accreditation process for the Event.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mass Communications
• At least five years experience in a similar field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Willing to work long hours and on some weekends
• Ability to multi-task under deadline pressure

TEMPORARY POSITION(S)

Ticketing & Accreditation Coordinators

Contract positions:
June to September

You will support the Ticketing & Accreditation Team by managing in-house ticketing operations, provide sales and logistics support for ticket orders from corporate groups, VIP clients and overseas travel agents. You will also work with key partners and stakeholders to ensure all qualified personnel are accredited with the proper access passes and decals.

Key requirements:

• Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred
• Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors
• Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn
• Able to work under deadline pressure, work independently and an effective problem solver
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word)
• Willing to work long hours, on shift and on weekends

Suite Ambassadors
(Contract position)

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Formula One Paddock Club, Sky and Club Suites, as well as the Green Room. You will need to manage all aspects of the hospitality experience within these suites, including F&B service, guest relations, client liaison and the implementation of Singapore GP’s service standards. You will also be required to assist service staff when necessary. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key requirements:

• At least 5 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and financial industry are welcome). Experience within the airline industry would be an advantage however by no means essential.
• The ability to deal with VIP guests at the highest level.
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours).
• Able to work for 5 days (12 to 16 September 2018 and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2018).

(Contract position)

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Formula One Paddock Club, Sky and Club Suites, as well as the Green Room. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This position is only open to Singaporeans / Singapore PRs. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme.

Key requirements:

• At least 2 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and financial industry are welcome).
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours).
• Ability to work for 5 days over the race weekend (12 to 16 September 2018 and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2018).
