Singapore GP is inviting candidates to be a part of Asia’s biggest motorsports extravaganza, the 2017 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off track, we are seeking exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following positions:

TEMPORARY POSITIONS

Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive
(6-month contract position)

You will assist in the development and implementation of strategies and partnerships in key markets. Besides possessing good interpersonal and writing skills, you should be detail-oriented and able to multi-task on various projects. You will also be required to manage direct and digital engagement campaigns as well as key branding functions for the 2017 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years’ experience for Marketing Manager and three years' experience for Senior Marketing Executive in a global marketing role with preference for lifestyle, luxury, sports or event marketing.
• Able to commit to the role from April to October 2017.

Marketing / Production Intern
(Contract position)

Reporting to the Director of Advertising and Marketing, you will be involved in various Marketing functions such as Advertising, Promotions, Production, Operations and Administration.

Under the guidance of the Marketing team, you will assist in the planning, execution and review of marketing campaigns (direct and digital) with the objective of building public awareness and driving ticket sales, as well as management of event functions during the FORMULA 1 Race week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance of website, eDMs, social media, and other digital platforms, including content generation, copy-writing and copy-proofing
• Assist in promotional activities such as roadshows and contests, including development of mechanics and fulfillment
• Assist production team in the production of collaterals, including copy-writing and proofing, and request of quotations
• Manage the database of resources and materials, including the selection of suitable visuals and content for various collaterals
• Coordinating with various internal department, external vendors and agencies to manage the flow of information and resources
• Assist the team in day-to-day administrative work, pre-race on-ground activations, preparation of logistics for race event and duties & responsibilities during race week

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Able to commit to the role from May to End-Sept / October 2017
• Students majoring in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
• Possess excellent communication skills, positive attitude towards learning and demonstrate a good knowledge of current and upcoming new media trends.

Entertainment Manager
(6-month contract position)

You will support the Operations department in managing logistical functions for our artistes such as flights, accommodation, media and hospitality commitments. Your role demands active participation in infrastructure planning for backstage layouts and internal fit-outs as well as conduct site inspections. During the Event, you will manage an on-ground crew and facilitate artiste meet and greet sessions.

Key Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in event management or in a similar capacity/industry,
• Team player who can also function independently in a dynamic environment,
• Strength in strategic and detailed planning,
• Ability to multi-task and accommodate ongoing on ground changes,
• Good interpersonal and communication skills,
• On ground operational execution of plans,
• Meticulous, possess good management, analytical and problem solving skills in dynamic situations,
• Able to work over weekends and extended hours,
• Good command of English and good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Operations Executive
(6-month contract position)

You will work within the Operations department by providing on-ground support and, communicate effectively to all external vendors, stakeholders as well as undertake administrative duties. You will conduct briefings and site recces to inter-agency and onsite crew whom you will manage during the Event. In addition, you are required to lead and motivate a team of supervisors and ground crew that will be assigned to you.

Ticketing Coordinators
(Contract position)

3 contract positions:
(1) April to October
(2) June to October
(3) July to September

You will support the Ticketing Team by managing in-house ticketing operations, respond to customer enquiries, process ticket bookings and facilitate ticket fulfilment. In addition, you will provide sales and logistics support for ticket orders from corporate groups, VIP clients and overseas travel agents.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred.
• Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors.
• Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn.
• Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word).
• Willing to work long hours, on shift and weekends.

Accreditation Coordinator
(Contract position – April to October)

A key member of the Accreditation team, you will be required to work with key partners and stakeholders to ensure all qualified personnel are accredited with the proper access passes and decals. You will also work with third-party vendors in the enhancement and development process of the accreditation system.

Suite Ambassadors
(Contract position)

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Formula One Paddock Club, Sky and Club Suites, as well as The Green Room. You will need to manage all aspects of the hospitality experience within these suites, including food and beverage service, guest relations, client liaison and the implementation of Singapore GP's service standards. You will also be required to assist service staff when necessary. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and finance industry are welcome). Experience within the airline industry would be an advantage however by no means essential.
• The ability to deal with VIP guests at the highest level.
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours)
• Able to work for 5 days (13 to 17 September 2017) and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2017.

Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme.

• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours)
• Ability to work for 5 days over the race weekend (13 to 17 September 2017) and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2017.
