Consistently voted amongst the top 10 DJs in the world (DJ Magazine’s 2008 Top 100 DJ Poll), and responsible for launching the careers of Danny Howells and Chris Fortier through his commendable Bedrock label, John Digweed, remains to be one of the prime dancefloor commanders. Having helmed a noteworthy residency at Renaissance in the early 90s and teamed up with Sasha for the Northern Exposure series, Diggers (as he’s affectionately known) has come into his own to be both an inspiration and an ingenious icon in the music circle. Constantly, re-inventing his sounds and gradually dropping the tag of being a ‘progressive house-head’ as a result, Diggers returns with sleeker tech fused sounds for a night of melodic hypnosis.
