Continuing strong demand for early bird tickets
Early bird tickets for Esplanade Waterfront Grandstand sold out, additional inventory added in Connaught Grandstand in addition to Turn 3 announced last week
22 April 2009

Singapore, 22 April 2009 - Nearly two weeks after the initial launch of tickets for the 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX Early Bird tickets continue to sell well. The 50% of available inventory allotted to early bird tickets for the Esplanade Waterfront Grandstand are now sold out, however fans can still purchase the remaining tickets at the regular rate of S$598.

Based on the sales trend over the last 2 days, it is anticipated that the 3-day early bird Season Walkabout as well as Saturday and Sunday single day early bird Walkabout tickets will be sold out by next week.

Tickets for the Connaught Grandstand are also selling fast and as a result of the strong demand, 750 additional seats have been introduced here.

The early bird release consists of up to 50% of the available inventory for each grandstand and walkabout pass. Once the early bird allotment in each area is taken up, the balance in the respective category will be offered at the regular 2009 rates.

Turn 3 Grandstand, Bay Grandstand as well as the single-day and three-day Walkabout tickets were released for sale last Monday. Fans can now opt to purchase the tickets via three channels: online (http://tickets.singaporegp.sg), the ticketing hotline (+65 6738 6738) as well as SISTIC and SingPost outlets island wide.

SingTel customers can also purchase the tickets at the upcoming SingTel road show held at Suntec City (Galleria Foyer), from 24 to 26 April 2009 (11am to 9pm).

Those interested to purchase 2009 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX tickets are advised to visit the official website, www.singaporegp.sg, regularly for updates and detailed information on the various ticket categories.
