Ferrari owners take to the Marina Bay Street Circuit in aid of charity

Ferrari owners raise S$500,000 in support of President's Challenge 2014

Singapore, 9 September 2014 – A special parade involving Ferrari owners will be held over the 2014 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX race weekend in support of President’s Challenge 2014.

20 Ferrari owners will take part in a parade around the Marina Bay Street Circuit on 20 September led by Ferrari’s flagship model, the F12berlinetta, the ultimate evolution of Ferrari’s front-engined V12 road cars.

In total, over S$500,000 has been raised for the President’s Charity as a result of contributions from the participating drivers.

“We staged a similar parade back in 2010 and each year we receive numerous requests from our customers to do a repeat. We are very happy that so many amongst the Ferrari community have come forward once again to support this worthy cause” said Jeremy Gaw, General Manager of Ital Auto Pte Ltd, the Official Ferrari Importer for Singapore.

“Singapore GP Pte Ltd is honoured to host the President’s Challenge Ferrari parade once more. We are delighted that so many generous contributors have come forward in aid of this great charity. These magnificent Ferraris are a great addition to the already packed track line-up at the 2014 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX,” said Jonathan Hallett, Director of Singapore GP Pte Ltd.
