See the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix in a whole new light with an exciting virtual reboot of the #F1nightrace

Race promoter Singapore GP has launched an all-new way to experience the Formula 1 night race with the debut of the SGP Reboot app.

25  January 2021, Singapore – Race promoter Singapore GP has launched an all-new way to experience the Formula 1 night race with the debut of the SGP Reboot app. For the first time, fans can explore restricted areas of the Marina Bay Street Circuit in an interactive virtual environment unlike any other from wherever they are.

Explore, Play and Win!

Those missing the Formula 1 action on the streets of Singapore can have a go at three unique online games held at a virtual edition of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Fans can put themselves in the shoes of a Singapore GP marshal and help Clear the Track of car parts and even wandering otters before the race, or go on a hunt for the Missing Trophy before the podium ceremony begins. Participants who successfully complete the two games will unlock the Singapore Street Race – watch out for the uniquely Singapore obstacles like the ice kachang and teh tarik packets!

Players who top the leader board weekly  will stand to win official Singapore GP merchandise, including a limited edition plush bear, and non-slip car dashboard mats. Participants can also enter a lucky draw for a chance to win flight tickets to a destination of their choice, sponsored by Singapore Airlines.

Rewind and Unwind

While exploring the virtual world, visitors can also catch exclusive behind-the-scenes footage showing restricted areas of the circuit, including the Paddock, team garages, the Media Centre and Race Control room and gain an insight into the inner workings of the Formula 1 night race.

Fans can also relive the most memorable moments of 12 years of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and a look back on all the champions who have conquered the streets of Singapore since the inaugural race in 2008 in a special highlights video.

SGP Reboot Community Series

Access to the SGP Reboot virtual app is free and available for download on mobile phones via Google Play and App Store, as well as on desktop computers from now till 19 April 2021.
