Singapore GP is inviting suitable candidates to be part of the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2019, Asia’s biggest and most highly anticipated motorsports event. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off the track, we seek exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following positions:

PERMANENT POSITION(S)

Executive, Partnership Sales

As a key member of the Partnership Sales team, you will be tasked to work closely with third-party agents globally to process ticket orders and fulfilment, manage ticket inventory and collection points, as well as the reconciliation of accounts. During event week, you will be managing on-site ticket collection, hosting key agents on familiarisation visits as well as other related administrative matters. In addition, you will also coordinate in-market efforts and the communication of information between the company and third-party agents.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred
• Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors
• Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn
• Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word)
• Willing to work long hours and weekends

Warehouse Store Assistant

You will be responsible for the daily warehouse functions, such as loading and unloading of cargo, receiving, sorting, packing, quality checking and repalletizing. An independent and fast worker, you will also be required to conduct stock taking and update inventory records promptly, and ensure all deliveries are properly and timely executed. In addition, you will assist to keep the warehouse clean, ensuring optimum space management and a clean working environment.

Key Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a similar capacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in MS-Excel
• Experienced in operating material handling equipment (stacker)
• Possess Class 3 driving license
• Able to understand and communicate in basic English
• Physically fit

CONTRACT POSITION(S)

Marketing Intern

Reporting to the Director of Advertising and Marketing, you will be involved in various Marketing functions such as Advertising, Promotions, Production, Operations and Administration.

Under the guidance of the Marketing team, you will assist in the planning, execution and review of marketing campaigns (direct and digital) with the objective of building public awareness and driving ticket sales, as well as management of event functions during the Formula 1 Race week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance of website, eDMs, social media, and other digital platforms, including content generation, copy-writing and copy-proofing
• Assist the digital creative team in the creation, coordination, and distribution of campaigns and creative assets on social media
• Assist in promotional activities such as contests, including development of mechanics and fulfillment
• Coordinating with various internal department, external vendors and agencies to manage the flow of information and resources
• Support the preparation of logistics for race event
• Assist the team in managing pre-race on-ground activations, and duties and responsibilities during race week

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Able to commit to the role from May to October 2019
• Students majoring in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of photo or video editing software (Photoshop, Final Cut Pro) or other graphic design software, etc. is preferred
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
• Possess excellent communication skills, positive attitude towards learning and demonstrate a good knowledge of current and upcoming new media trends
• Strong interest in digital platforms including social media in a business context

Suite Ambassadors

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Formula One Paddock Club™, Sky Suites, Twenty3, The Green Room as well as Lounge@Turn 3. You will need to manage all aspects of the hospitality experience within these suites, including F&B service, guest relations, client liaison and ensuring Singapore GP’s service standards are met. You will also be required to assist service staff when necessary. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and financial industry are welcome). Experience within the airline industry would be an advantage however by no means essential.
• The ability to deal with VIP guests at the highest level.
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours).
• Able to work for 5 days (20 to 22 September 2019) and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2019.

Guest Support Officers

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Sky Suites, Twenty3, The Green Room as well as Lounge@Turn 3. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This position is only open to Singaporeans / Singapore PRs. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme.

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and financial industry are welcome).
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours).
• Ability to work for 5 days over the race weekend (20 to 22 September 2019) and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2019.

Ticketing Coordinators
(3 contract positions):

(1) 2 positions for June to October
(2) 1 position for August to October

You will be required to handle corporate and group bookings, and ticket production and delivery. You will also assist the ticketing team in managing in-house ticketing operations.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum diploma or degree holder. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in customer service preferred.

• Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn.
